Mad Mobile is seeking a Mid-Market Sales Development Rep (SDR) to join our growing sales team. Working in a central office, you will be ultimately accountable for finding, qualifying, and bringing in new business. A successful SDR is an outstanding communicator who is highly technical, analytical, and organized.  You must be a ‘hunter’; with strong ‘gatherer’ skills

Role & Responsibilities

The Mid-Market Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for creating and booking qualified sales leads through a combination of phone, email, and social media outbound prospecting.  Utilizing an advanced sales stack, and working closely with the ABM team within Marketing, you will drive high value meetings within the Mid-Market vertical. This role will report directly to the Director of Mid-Market Sales and will be considered a highly visible position within the company.  A competitive nature, hunter mentality, and strong sense of quality are all required traits in the final candidates.

  • Break into new business through prospecting emails, calls, and social media
  • Ability to work up an organization to get to the Executive Buyer(s)
  • Ability to hold an extensive pre-qualifying call with multiple senior members within an organization
  • Conduct and attend weekly team meetings
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Understand and overcome customer objections in an ever-changing environment
  • Properly document all activity via company CRM tool (Salesforce)
  • Conduct regular follow up calls with all leads as required
  • Retain and adhere to all company processes and procedures
  • Provide feedback on organizational change and process improvement suggestions
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • A “hunter” mindset
  • Creative and persistent in outreach methods to obtain meetings
  • 2+ years exceeding quota performance as a Sales Development Representative, or comparable role
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, call control and time management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with a CRM (Salesforce Preferred)
  • Thorough understanding of power dialer technology
  • A demonstrated commitment to teamwork
  • Strong understanding of sales process in both short and long sales cycles
  • Ability to communicate concepts to non-technical end users
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to thrive in a face paced, ever changing environment

Preferred Skills

  • Post-Secondary degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience working with channel partners
  • Previous experience working multi-point organizations and navigating large accounts
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
