AI adoption at Mad Mobile isn’t just about using the latest tools—it’s about rethinking how humans and machines create value together.
While most companies deploy AI top-down, Mad Mobile did something different: we made it personal. We empowered individual contributors, built a composable AI-native platform, and infused intelligence into the very core of how we deliver Connected Commerce.
Flipping the Script on AI Adoption at Mad Mobile
Most AI initiatives begin in the boardroom. Our journey started with our people.
We launched the AI Alpha Program, a bold internal experiment where:
-
No executives or managers were included.
-
One individual contributor (IC) from each department—Product, Marketing, HR, Sales, Support—was selected.
-
Each IC was given advanced AI tools and asked to build a proof of concept that could improve their workflow.
The results? Incredibly personal, useful, and inspiring. From campaign builders and pitch generators to support automations and content summarization, real innovation came from the people closest to the work.
Human-Centred AI Adoption at Mad Mobile
“AI doesn’t just scale systems. It can scale people.”
– Jack Kennedy, VP of AI at Mad Mobile
By giving people access and permission to explore AI, we witnessed a culture shift. Departments that might never collaborate started cross-pollinating ideas. Team members became internal champions. AI wasn’t an abstract buzzword—it was a tool to elevate creativity, accelerate delivery, and bring new solutions to life.
How AI Adoption at Mad Mobile Led to a Composable Platform
Unlike bolt-on AI features, Mad Mobile’s AI platform is composable by design. That means:
-
Pluggable architecture: We integrate with OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Titan, and more.
-
Visual orchestration tools: Drag-and-drop workflows tailored to each use case.
-
Prompt templates and contextual AI: Configured per team, customer, or brand.
-
Real-time adaptability: Systems that grow with customer needs, not against them.
Data is sliced by associate, brand, and customer—ensuring highly contextual outputs that are secure, relevant, and fast.
Agentic Intelligence and AI Adoption in Connected Commerce
We’re extending our platform vision through Connected Commerce—where retail and restaurant ecosystems work through AI-enhanced orchestration. This includes:
-
Treating agents as first-class citizens (just like applications)
-
Unified interfaces: UI and APIs seen as equal entry points
-
Agentic identity: AI agents get MFA, permissions, and user accounts
-
Marketplace connectors: Allowing clients to build, adapt, and scale AI experiences with low code
This isn’t just scalable AI. It’s AI designed to think, act, and collaborate across global teams and systems—securely and intelligently.
What Makes AI Adoption at Mad Mobile Different?
- AI started with individuals, not departments
- Real, cross-functional outcomes were built in weeks
- Our platform is flexible, pluggable, and future-proof
- Agentic intelligence and connected APIs are built in by design
- It’s already powering products like CAKE NEO and enterprise retail tools
This is AI adoption that works with your people and through your systems—because we believe AI should feel less like a tool, and more like a teammate.
